Weather protection cabin

We offer a weather protection cabinet for our mobile saws and also for stationary block band saws that are not operated in a hall. It not only protects against rain but also the eyes against chips. Due to its stable construction it does not need to be folded over when driving. No visual impediment is given, as the shoe of our block band saw is wider. We use safety glass that does not become blind like Plexiglas.

Luxury cabine

We can also offer you a luxury cabin for our block band saws. It is adjustable in height and therefore has the decisive advantage that the operator is always at eye-level with the saw blade. This is especially important when working with large trees. When working with cabins that are not adjustable in height the operator must get up repeatedly. Beyond that the cabin does not have to be folded for transport with mobile saws.

Water lubrication

It is very important for the long lifetime of the saw blade that the cast wheel and the saw blades are completely clean. Especially when working with high-resin wood like larch, the resin can only be removed with water. A distribution onto the entire saw blade width makes our water lubrication even more effective. You can add the water via a container or also directly via a water faucet.

Brush

In businesses that take their cut material from our block band saws with vacuum jacks, it is important to brush off the sawdust. This is also necessary for hardwood block material that is dried, as otherwise the saw chips may cause spots. For this purpose we developed a board brush that can be set hydraulically either by hand or automatically.

Vaccum holder

We built a special saw bed with vacuum holder for the log for customers that cut lamellae. This way it was possible to perform the last cut at 8 mm (otherwise 24 mm). This vacuum holder is available in two versions, one integrated into the basic frame of our block band saw or as a removable unit.

Hydraulic blade guidance adiustment

Especially when faced with massive roots it may be necessary to open the blade guide wider at the end of the log. This can be done conveniently from the operator?s panel.

Hydraulic-aggregate on the saw head unit

An additional hydraulic aggregate with control valves at the saw head of our block band saw increases the comfort. As it is attached to the saw head, no hydraulic tubes need to be lain in the energy chain.  Every single control unit is equipped with return valves, making them absolutely tight. A shut-off valve for blade tightening is omitted. All functions can then be operated by a multifunction joystick: Wimmer-saw head up-down forwards-backwards, positioning control, blade tightening, pre-cutter, chip box, hydr. blade guide adjustment, lengthwise cutter.

Lubrication pump

A lubrication pump instead of the normal lubrication has the advantage that drip oils can be omitted. The lubrication does not drip directly on the cast wheel but is evenly distributed onto the full width of the cast wheel with a felt pad, including the outer part of the saw blade. Beyond that also the rollers of the saw head are lubricated. The dosage can be set separately for each place of lubrication. With the SPS control the lubrication can be precisely set. Several lubrication lines can be laid to lubricate the rollers of the Wimmer saw head, for example.

Longitudinal and crossuise cutter

Users that cut a lot of large diameter timber may have boards that are wider than the straight line edger saw. This is where our lengthwise cutter comes in, on which the boards can be split at will. The lengthwise cutter is also adequate as a crosswise cutter for cutting to length. It only needs to be turned by 90°. The SPS-control provides exact board length that is done automatically.

Handle heating

Cold hands are a frequent problem in winter. We are able to solve this by letting warm hydraulic oil flow through the protective bar of the control units.
