The hydraulic aggregate we developed includes and therefore protects all components like drive engine, hydraulic pump, filter and tank. The hydraulic engine with 4kW is a slow-speed engine, this guarantees a long lifetime of the pump. Our hydraulic pump does not have a common aluminium casing but a cast casing that resists peak pressures over 300bar. Safety in usage and the long lifetime were priorities for us here once again.
The log jack of our block band saw is mounted on a massive shaft and produced of one piece without welding seams. Thus, even the heaviest logs are no problem. An own construction enables the installation of a double-effect cylinder, making defect-prone return springs superfluous and guaranteeing fast lowering also in extremely cold temperatures. (Of course the log jack is constructed so that the risk of injury is excluded.) Removable lifting arms are also possible. The lifting arms can also be moved for different wood lengths. The advantage of this method is that only the lifting arm and not the complete log jack with supporting foot and cylinder has to be moved.
With the chain log turner of our block band saw the log can be turned and clamped. Due to its massive construction it resists even extreme strain. The lifting cylinder is located on the inside and therefore protected against damage. Replaceable wear bushings or plates are mounted on all mobile parts. The log turner is mounted on a central traverse and not laterally on the main frame. This spares the basic frame.
The chain log turner of our block band saw is our own construction and protected by patent. The advantage of our chain log turner is its triple function. Turning with the chain, turning with the claws and clamping of the log. The position of every arm can be adjusted independently. Thus it can be ideally adapted to every log. It is also possible to use the chain log turner to eject the cut material.
The chain log turner with star of our block band saw is our construction. This is the more price-effective version. The log is only turned with the chain opposed to the normal chain turner. The star at the end of the swivel arm prevents the log from rolling away and provides ideal rotation, especially for large logs.
Especially when working with short logs that cannot be gripped with two turners there is the risk that they roll back during turning. This is where our log holding arm (crescent) comes in handy.
The log roller of our block band saw moves the log forwards or backwards. This is necessary to position the log on as many supports as possible so that the hydraulic components can be ideally used. The log rollers can be adjusted hydraulically in height and can also be used to align the logs. The log rollers are also frequently used to transport the finished cut material towards the back (e.g. on a roller track).
The level balance of our block band saw is obligatory. For one, the individually controllable balance sliders align the log in height. Due to the claws the log can also be clamped and if necessary, pulled at the bottom, which is very important for high-tension wood to create cut material true to dimension. The claws can be mechanically adjusted to the level sign. By request, hydraulic height adjustment is also available. It is also possible to screw protective jaws made of aluminium onto the claws so the wood is not harmed.
The vertical supports of our block band saw are necessary for right-angled alignment of the wood and as a stopper. With a wall thickness of 8 mm they also resist greatest strain. They move in replaceable guides made of special plastic. The angle of the vertical supports can be adjusted.
An integrated roller facilitates turning large logs. In combination with our SPS the vertical supports can be protected against cuts.(vertical support monitoring).
