Acquisition of the company by Josef Zenz.

Matthias Zenz, a direct ancestor of the current owner, bought this village smithy in 1857. In the sixth generation, the current owner Josef Zenz now manages the company of his ancestors. In 2007
the generational company looks back on 150 years of company history. Besides working as a blacksmith and agricultural machinery dealer, the company Zenz has always been concerned with mechanical engineering. The grandfather of the current owner therefore made over 500 agricultural trailers. His father Josef Zenz senior developed special cellar oil tanks for installation in homes, as well as several agricultural machines, some of which were provided with utility model protection.

The historical roots of the entrepreneurial family Zenz date back to the 16th century.

The first documented mention of the smith from Lengmoos dates back to 1520.
