2022
Josef Zenz hands over the company to his son Christoph Zenz. He is now a partner and managing director of the Zenz company.
2021
Christoph Zenz joins the company as Managing Director. In addition, we have been a direct dealer for Husqvarna and Kioti since this year.
2020
With our new Pühringer single-axle pump pass incl. 12 meter Bomech trailing shoe distributor, we are now at your side as a contractor.
2019
Conversion of our assembly hall, where our log band saws are produced, and construction of our new warehouse at the Lengmoos 100 site.
2019
Two log band saws are delivered to Ethiopia.
2015
The Profiline operating system for our log bandsaws will be presented for the first time at Ligna in Hanover.
2013
Zenz becomes a service partner for Keenan feed mixers.
2012
Zenz is the winner of the Agricultural Technology Service Award.
2011
Zenz takes over the factory representation of the Austrian tipper manufacturer Pühringer.
2010
A wood chip heating system with 2 x 150 kW is built. This not only supplies Zenz’s business, but also eight other companies and private households.
2009
Zenz becomes a direct dealer for Deutz-Fahr tractors and Krone harvesters.
2007
Anniversary year – 150th anniversary celebration in the 1,200-man marquee on September 8, 2007.
2006
Zenz acquires the mechanical engineering department of the Alber company and from then on develops, produces and sells automatic sharpening machines, rolling benches and setting machines for band saws.
2005
Zenz takes over the development, production and distribution of Obermaier silo combs from Reiter, which are marketed as ZENZ silo combs from this point on.

Start of development and production of ZENZ log band saws.

Start of production of log band saws.

Takeover of the company by Josef Zenz Jun.
1857
Matthias Zenz, a direct ancestor of the current owner Christoph Zenz, bought this village smithy in 1857. It is now run by the seventh generation.
1520
The historical roots of the Zenz family of entrepreneurs go back to the 16th century. The first documented mention of the blacksmith from Lengmoos dates back to 1520.
