Mechanization

Innovative mechanization solutions

The demand for mechanization for stationary saws is constantly increasing, as it makes work easier and increases performance.
Over the years, we have developed a variety of mechanizations that we can offer you.
Thanks to our extensive experience, we are able to design customized special solutions that are specifically tailored to your operation.

Hydraulic log feeder

Individual chain strands with a standard length of 4.5 m transport the logs to the saw, where they are lifted onto the saw using log lifters. The chain strands are driven by a hydraulic motor. Depending on the log length, two or more feed units can be used. A flow divider ensures an even feed. The log feeder is conveniently operated from the saw.

Electric log feeder

For extremely heavy logs, we recommend an electric log feeder. This robust solution is driven by a geared motor and all drive wheels are connected by a shaft. The chain strands are also connected to each other, which provides additional stability. It is conveniently operated from the saw.

Lateral lumber removal

After the bark and side boards have been sawn, the sawyer folds the flap frame downwards. This continuous frame allows all lengths to be accommodated. By turning the log, the sawn timber falls onto this frame. The frame is then lifted to transport the sawn timber to various storage options.

Individual customer

The pick-up arms are attached to the side of the saw. The position can be changed simply by moving the bracket on the joist. With the mobile version, you only need to slide the pickups inwards. This eliminates the need for forceful upward pivoting. A swivel joint is fitted in the swivel arm. This means that the shelves can also be used as storage tables. As the bracket is bolted to the beam, it can also be retrofitted to existing saws.

Remote system

With this system, the cut material is pushed away from the log on the return journey. A scissor table compensates for the height differences with each cut so that the roller table always automatically adjusts to the saw blade height. Once the cut material has been picked up, the roller table lowers and the material can be transported to the right or left. This system is ideal for fully automatic operation.

Roller conveyor with ejectors

Driven rollers transport the cut goods to the rear. A sensor in the rear stop activates the transverse chains, and carriers transport the cut goods to the left or right.

Brush unit

Especially with slats, but also with other boards, it is often necessary to brush off both sides. Our specially developed brushing unit does this automatically on the way from the saw to the roller conveyor.

More Information

Chop saw

If desired, a cross-cut saw can be installed after the saw. This allows previously sawn squared timber to be cut precisely to the desired length.
